San Andrés
The Caribbean Sea of Seven Colors is exactly what it sounds like — turquoise, emerald, and deep blue shifting beneath you depending on where you stand. And the Maratón 7 Colores takes you around the entire island along that coastline, one of the most visually stunning marathon courses in the world.
We are staying somewhere with character, not a mega-resort. We are eating where the island actually eats, not where the cruise ships dock. The race is just the excuse. This trip is about showing up for each other. Come for the run. Stay for the community.
This trip is a partnership between Run Like a Local and Latinas a Correr — celebrating Latina women running across Latin America and the joy, strength, and community that comes with showing up for each other, mile after mile. Led by Arlene of Latinas a Correr and Alberto of Run Like a Local. You do not have to be Latina, or a woman, to join us. You just have to want to be part of something real.
Come for the run. Stay for the community.
No scrambling for logistics. No navigating a new city alone. You trained with women who showed up for you every single week. Now you cross the finish line with them — on one of the most beautiful courses in the world, on an island that will take your breath away before you even hit mile one.

Okay, but what do I actually get?
Edit 004 / San Andrés
Five Days in the Caribbean
Land in San Andrés and feel the Caribbean wrap around you immediately. Check in to your boutique hotel, drop your bags, and take your first walk along the water. Dinner together as a group on night one — time to get excited, together.
Morning shakeout run along the coast — easy, social, just enough to feel the island under your feet before race day. Afternoon: bib pickup at the race expo. Evening: the pre-race pasta dinner, together as a group.
The Maratón 7 Colores. A full loop around the island along the Caribbean coastline, supported by music, local culture, and a community that has been building toward this race for months. You trained for this with women who showed up for you every single week.
Post-race: medals on, legs done, the Sea of Seven Colors waiting. We celebrate together. No alarms. A slow morning, a real breakfast, sore legs and big smiles. Then we board a private yacht to explore the island's most beautiful waters together — swimming, sun, and the kind of day that only happens after you've earned it.
One last walk along the water. Checkout, goodbyes, and a group who will remember this trip for the rest of their lives. Safe travels home — until the next one.
