Puerto Nuevo
The Pacific Coast Highway of Baja. Lobster villages. A course that ends at the sea. This is running like a local.
You will meet at the border, settle in Rosarito, eat the lobster Puerto Nuevo is famous for, see the entire race course before you run it, and wake up Sunday morning ready. No scrambling. No figuring it out alone. Just a well-run weekend in one of the most underrated coastal destinations in North America. For those who want more, Valle de Guadalupe waits right after the finish line.
This trip is a partnership between Run Like a Local and Latinas a Correr, celebrating Latina women running across Latin America and the joy, strength, and community that comes with showing up for each other, mile after mile. Led by Arlene of Latinas a Correr and Alberto of Run Like a Local. You do not have to be Latina, or a woman, to join us. You just have to want to be part of something real.
Come for the run. Stay for the lobster.
No scrambling for logistics. No navigating the border alone. You trained with women who showed up for you every single week. Now you cross the finish line with them, feet from the Pacific, with a table of fresh lobster waiting before you've even caught your breath.
